South Dakota Lakes

South Dakota is one of those states were the pavement changes from county to county. When I got into the state the highway was what made it finally feel that I was away from home and I was only just begining.
At this spot of the highway there wasn't much shoulder before giving way to the water. So I was watching the Caterpillars hauling dirt and dumping it and wondering all along what would happen if they drove into it or rolled over. Though I assume with the flatness of the whole area that these lakes are pretty shallow.
